The book has been a relative success for a small time author like myself and as the curtains draw on the 'Behind the fence' books so this weary old blog comes to an end as well.
'What Next?' I hear you all cry!
Well this blog will become part of the main 'Peter Middleton' blog that should hopefully start in the coming week and I start work on the next series of books…
a complete change of direction… all will be revealed very soon!
These two books will always have a very special place in my heart as they not only represent my first work but also a very steep, and at times painful, learning curve. I think the self publishing arena is an absolute mine field and many different 'marketing' scams are around that quite frankly would cost you more to set up than any future financial reward could be.
I am proud of my books! the vast majority of people that have read them enjoyed the trip and have asked for more. On this basis alone I have been made the happiest author on the planet. My aim from the start was to sell one book and that person to tell me how much they enjoyed it. I achieved this on day one! and everything else has been a bonus.
There is a special edition of the books coming out in May and that will be the final part of my first trip into publishing my own book. The mistakes have been many but they have been outweighed by the successes.
For all of you that have been on the journey I thank you from the bottom of my heart and also to everyone who bought the book a huge thanks for doing so and I hope that you enjoyed the read.
From Marshall, The Professor and myself, Thank you and we will see you in another life...
